The Women’s Sport Strategic Summit 2025, held in Switzerland on 15–16 July alongside the UEFA Women’s EURO, brought together global stakeholders to address critical gaps in women’s sport. Discussions focused on the lack of dedicated research into women’s health and performance, with FIFPRO highlighting the progress of Project ACL, a player-led initiative aiming to reduce ACL injuries and improve athlete availability in women’s football.
The summit also explored the commercial potential of women’s sport, showcasing how collective licensing, strategic partnerships, and investment pathways can create a more sustainable and equitable future for female athletes worldwide.
