1st Asian Conference on Women and Sport, Manila, Philippines organised by International Council of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sport and Dance (ICHPERSD), the national Sports Commission and the Women’s Sports Foundation Philippines. The Manila Declaration on Women and Sport (adapted from the Brighton Declaration – see 1994 May) is created and signed by 16 Asian nations.
