A Working Group on Women and Sport is set up to advise the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board and its President on ‘the measures which should be taken to enhance women’s participation in sport and in its administrative structures’. It is chaired by Anita DeFrantz (see 1996 Mar).
