Tenth European Sport Conference (ESC), Oslo. ESC agrees to the recommendations of the Working Group on Women and Sport (ESCWGWS) (see 1989 Oct) and extends the group by two years to monitor their implementation. The chairship moved from Sweden to the UK, with Margaret Talbot becoming chairwoman (Anita White joined due to her role at the Great Britain Sports Council). The group met regularly until 1993.
