The American Alliance for Health, Physical Education and Recreation Division for Girls and Women’s Sports (AAHPERDGWS) and the National Association of Physical Education for College Women (NAPECW) form the National Joint Committee on Extramural Sports for College Women (NJCESCW) – the first time women physical educators controlled intercollegiate competition.
