The Great Britain Sports Council and the Central Council of Physical Recreation (CCPR) launch an inquiry in to the lack of women at the top level of sport. The Women’s Sport Foundation UK (WSFUK) had lobbied and were included in the final report where the government blamed a shortage of women and not the structure of sport as the issue.
