Women’s Sport Foundation USA (WSFUS) Annual Conference, Denver. The origins of the Women’s International Sports Coalition (WISC) are formed, in part from correspondence that had continued amongst the Commonwealth Women and Sport Network (see 1990 Jan) and from very early discussions about creating an International Women’s Sport Foundation. The initial WISC members included representatives of groups such as Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women in Sport (CAAWS), International Association of Physical Education and Sport for Girls and Women (IAPESGW), WomenSport Australia, Women Sport Foundation Japan (WSFJ), Women’s Sport Foundation UK (WSFUK) and Women’s Sport Foundation USA (WSFUS).
