On April 25, 2025, the CID will bring together representatives from 22 Ibero-American countries in Washington, D.C., for its thirtieth General Assembly.
This high-level gathering will focus on strengthening international collaboration in sport policy with a strong emphasis on equity, inclusion, and sustainable development. Among the key priorities are advancing the goals of the 2030 Agenda, promoting gender equality in sport, and tackling harassment and abuse against women and girls. The Assembly will also address the fight against racism, xenophobia, and all forms of violence in sport — reaffirming the CID’s commitment to building inclusive, safe, and respectful sporting environments throughout the Ibero-American region.
